11.18.20 - Return to Virtual Learning

Return to virtual

The Board of Education held a meeting on Tuesday, 11/17/2020, where it was decided that all Wicomico County Public Schools will return to virtual learning starting Wednesday, November 18th.  This is in response to the COVID positivity rate of 5.91% and new case rate of 27.16/100,000.

Starting November 18th, sports and other extracurricular activities are on hold until further notice, including small groups. If we meet the metrics of a positivity rate below 5% and a new case rate below 15/100,000, small groups, athletics, band, and other extracurricular activities may resume prior to January

We will continue to offer meal distribution daily for those who have been taking advantage of that. We are offering this Monday through Friday from 8:00am-10:00am on the bus ramp.

If you haven’t completed the hybrid survey, please make sure to do so.   https://hybrid.wcboe.org/   That survey must be completed before we break for Thanksgiving, or your child will automatically be scheduled for virtual learning which will begin in February for high school.

As always, please feel free to contact the school should you have any questions.
