5-11 Weekly Message

Good morning Clipper families, this is Principal Savage with your weekly message.

We had an exciting teacher appreciation week in that our very own Mrs. Bhaskaran was named the Wicomico County Teacher of the Year.  Clippy made a visit to her home on Friday to congratulate her.  A picture is included in the email version of this message.  TOY CLIPPY.jpg

Today starts the fourth round of work.  If you have been accessing work digitally then you will be able to access that starting today.  If you are using the non-digital packets you can pick those up today at school from 3-5 or tomorrow from 9-11.  Students will be able to work through this round until the 25th.  Seniors need to complete as much as possible of this round by Friday with the last day for seniors being the 22nd.

If you are the parent of a senior, then you should have received a special message regarding seniors last evening.  If you have not had a chance to review that message, please take time to do so as it has important information about today’s cap and gown distribution.

The deadline to order a yearbook has been extended until June 1st.  If you would like to order a yearbook go to and select James M. Bennett High School.

I am sure that since we know that school will not reopen for the remainder of the school year, more information will becoming about collecting school items that you may have at home.  Until then please hang onto all items and we will collect them later.  However, senior items will be collected today at their cap and gown distribution.

Thank you everyone and have a great week.
