Parent Message 12-15
Good evening Clippers. This is Principal Savage with your weekly message.
We have one week before winter break begins and still there is a lot that will take place. We start of the week with a winter spirit week. We will have Pajama Day Monday, Flannel Tuesday, Winter Whiteout Wednesday, Holiday Thursday and Ugly Sweater Friday. This week we will also have JMB vs Parkside Basketball which takes place on Tuesday Evening. On Thursday we are hosting the 1st annual Access Testing Pep Rally for our English Language Learner Students during 7th period. On Thursday evening the fun continues as we have our Band Concert at 7. Then on Friday we are holding a Positive Behavior Incentive Event for our students who are doing all the right things and that will include a holiday concert and a special treat. In fact, we could use some extra hands to help with the treat. If you could help on the 20th from 8-10:30 please let us know.
Our winter sports are off to a good start and we are focused on ensuring our players and fans have a positive experience. If you or friends and family are planning to attend any sporting event here at JMB we are committed to appropriate cheering as we model what we want to see in our students. We will ask that fans respect the events by letting the players play, the coaches coach, and the officials officiate. Fans should refrain from the use of foul or negative language and aggressive behavior. Any fans, that do not comply to our code of conduct will be asked to leave.
Be sure to check out the bulletin and Facebook for all the great things happening through the remainder of the year.
I hope you have a wonderful break and a great start to the new year as the next parent message will take place in the new decade on January 5th.
Thank you, have a good evening and again Happy Holidays!
