11-3 Parent Message
Good evening Clippers. This is Principal Savage with your weekly message.
This week students and staff will have a four-day week as there will be no school on the 8th.
Though it will be a short school week there will be a lot going on. Our Volleyball team will start playoff games here at home on Monday at 5. Unified Tennis will participate in states on Tuesday. Our football team will start play offs on Friday away in Huntington and their game is set for 7:00 pm. Cross Country has three students who qualified for states and that will take place on Saturday at Hereford High School.
Let’s continue to cheer on our fall teams as we also get ready for winter sports. Attached is the information needed get those physicals and to register your student for winter sports.
If you are looking for something other than sports, we got that too. Our fall drama production will that place on the 8th, 9th, and 10th. Be sure to come check out our students as they put on the production of Bad Auditions By Bad Actors. Check out the attachment or our Facebook page for more information.
Any student who would like to order the 2020 yearbook, go to Balfour.com. There is an early bird price of $70 until December 1. After that, the price will be $75, so order early. Last year we sold out of all yearbooks.
The first term will end November 6th and report cards will go home on the 12th.
Be sure to check out our bulletin and Facebook for all the upcoming activities and events this week.
As we continue to make school safety a priority, we still welcome visitors. Please know that you are welcome to visit your student at school at any time. Visitors are welcome throughout the school year. Visitors must be on the student’s contact information in the computer and they must be over 21. All visitors must check in with the office through our automated system and you must have a valid ID.
I am so proud of our JMB Clippers and all they have accomplished this fall and I look forward to getting the second term underway.
Thank you and have a great evening.
