The Preliminary SAT/ National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) will be administered at James M. Bennett High school on Wednesday, October 16th. All 10th grade students take the test free of charge. 10th grade students are automatically signed up to take the assessment and will be provided information about their testing room assignment in the beginning of October.
Any 9th or 11th grade students who wish to take the test will need to sign up with Mrs. Gosseline in the guidance suite by September 17th. The cost for 9th and 11th graders is $17.00, students may bring cash or check to Mrs. Gosseline.
October 16th will be a delayed opening for any students not taking the PSAT/NMSQT. For more information on the PSAT/NMSQT please visit the College Board website.
Free and Reduced Lunch Forms- Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch may also receive additional benefits upon completion of the from. These benefits include: reduced extracurricular fees, taking the SAT twice for free, and applying to four college for free. We strongly encourage students who qualify to complete and return these forms.
