JMB Week of December 17th
Good Evening Clippers,
We will have four days of school this week before school is closed December 21st- January 1st for Winter Break. Please note that our JMB offices will also be closed during these dates. You can contact the central office if you have an urgent matter that needs attention during this time at 410-677-4400. If not, we will be back and ready to serve you on January 2nd.
Report cards were also distributed on this past Wednesday. If you haven't done so already, please take time to review this report with your student and help them with brainstorming ways to improve upon their grades and attendance. We have many students that are performing well and I want to give these students a shout out. We also have those that aren't working up to their potential. Parents, please partner with us to encourage your students to get to school and class on time and to complete their work to the best of their ability.
Last week, we celebrated several concert performances by our students. This week, we will host our JMB SGA spirit week. Spirit days include:
Monday: Pajama Day
Tuesday: Flannels and Fuzzy Socks Day
Wednesday: Represent your class and wear SRs (Red) JRs (White) SOPHs (Green) FR (Blue)
Thursday: Ugly Sweater
Parents, WCPS will hold an ESSA informational session on January 9th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the JMB cafeteria. This session will discuss why we have a new rating system, what your child's school rating is, and the implications for the future.
This week we have our Art Club's Bob Ross Paint Event on Tuesday, December 18th at 6:00 p.m If you're interested in tickets, please email email@example.com. Tickets are $20 for adults.
There is also a senior class meeting on Tuesday, December 18th at 5:30 in the media center.
