Week of November 19th
Good Evening Clippers,
I'd like to take this time to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving holiday. Students will only be in school Monday and Tuesday this week. Schools will be closed November 21-25th for students. We will re-open for students on Monday, November 26th.
We will celebrate our fall athletes and coaches on Wednesday, November 28th in the Clipper's Galley at 5:30. Please join us for this awards celebration.
There will be a senior class parent meeting with advisors and Mrs. Eskridge on Thursday, November 29 at 5:30 in the Clipper's Galley. We will discuss the upcoming senior events including prom, grand march, after prom, and Jr/Sr. banquet. Prom will remain at The Fountains this year, but we will discuss possibilities for grand march. If you plan to attend this meeting, let's plan to work together to make the rest of this year's activities excellent for our Class of 2019.
Kudos to Mr. Portier and members of the bar association for putting another successful Law Day for our students. With interpreters, all students that attended were able to gain valuable information, ask questions, and play an active role in the day's activities.
Thank you to all our parents that came out to join their students during American Education Week. We hope you had a fun visit. Don't forget that parents are welcome to visit any time with a valid id. All visitors must be 21 and on the student contact sheet.
Our football team had a rough loss this weekend versus Chesapeake, but they should be extremely proud for the amazing season they put together.
