JMB Week of 11/12

Good Evening Clippers,

This week is American Education Week.  Please that JMB is open to visitors each and every day, so if you cannot make it this week, we certainly do understand.  Stop by any time and visit your student.  For those that will be visiting this week, please make sure you are on the student's contact list and bring a valid photo id. with you.  Wicomico County Schools has a new sign in system named Raptor.  If you haven't visited one of our buildings this year, it will take you at least 3 minutes to check in.  All visitors must be checked in through Raptor this year.

When you visit us, please remove head gear, put cellphones on silent, and remember that we do not allow small children to visit with you.  All visitors must be 21 years or older unless on a students data sheet.  If you have questions, please call our front office at 410-677-5141.

Kudos to Ms. Centenio, Mr. Miles, our band and choir as they performed at WCPS 150th birthday celebration at the Centre of Salisbury this Saturday.  They did an excellent job representing us.

This week, Annabel Hofmann and Matt Selser will represent JMB at the Optimist Club's Annual High School Celebration and dinner.  These two students are positive role models that succeed in the classroom and with their extracurricular/service activities.

Congratulations to our Boy's Football Team who won it's first playoff game since 1990.  We will play in the regional championship this coming Saturday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m at Wicomico County Stadium. Come on out and support the team.

Our boy's soccer team lost a close regional semi-final 1-0 versus McGruder High School.  Nicole Nieberding placed 61st out of 137 runners and Yousef Ansari placed 27th in the MD 3A Class.  This was an excellent showing.

Kudos to Ms. Murray and our JMB drama club on their performance "Our Town."  They did a truly marvelous job with this endeavor.
