Just in case you have not heard, Ms. Fitzgerald was named the JMB Teacher of the Year! If you know her, you know she is deserving of the honor in the classroom as well as on the field. We are so excited for her and look forward to her competing for the Wicomico County Teacher of the Year.

On Friday, students were reminded that hats and hoods are not to be worn in the school as per our county dress code. It is even more important now to ensure students are not wearing hats and hoods with the addition of masks as they can make it more difficult to see students' faces. Most of our students are doing a great job, but we wanted to remind others hats and hoods should not be worn in the building. In addition to hats and hoods, students were reminded that they should not have two earbuds in during hallway transition. Staff should be able to communicate with students at all times. We will be using these next two weeks to consistently remind students of this expectation so that upon our return in January, we are on track with not wearing hats, hoods and earbuds.

Just a reminder that progress reports come out on the 15th. If you have not reviewed your student's grades recently, now is a good time to do so through the family portal. If you have questions about accessing your student's grades, please give us a call. 410-677-5141.
