Just a reminder tomorrow, we have our first official virtual half-day, and it is also the start of the second term. Please refer to the virtual schedule and encourage your student to log on for each class. Attendance will be taken during each class, just as we do when in person.

On Monday, November 8th, Wicomico County Public Schools will begin using our School Messenger system to send SMS Text messages to parents and staff of Wicomico County Public Schools for emergency broadcasts, school closings, delays, safety, academic, extracurricular, and other important school and district announcements.

*This will not replace current school communication methods. This will add to the number of ways you already receive important school information.

All WCPS parents, guardians, and staff members will receive a one-time text message to the primary contact cell phone number on file during the evening of NOVEMBER 8th. That message will give you the option to OPT-IN (CONTINUE receiving) or OPT-OUT (STOP receiving) of further text messages from Wicomico Public Schools. You can opt out of receiving messages at any time. You will recognize the text message as it will be from “WicoSchls”.

Report cards will be available through the family portal on Nov. 12th. Students who earn a failing grade will have a copy of their report card mailed home. Please remember that students who have missed 5 or more unexcused days will have E's on their report cards until they make up their absences and recover their grades.

Just a reminder that if your child tests positive for COVID, notify our school nurse. ( This will also help ensure attendance gets marked correctly.

To see our COVID numbers for each week, check out the COVID-19 Dashboard on the county website.
