Homecoming was a little different with our football game being canceled and then our soccer games being rescheduled because of rain, but overall, it was a great success, and the students who attended the dance on Saturday had a great time.
Starting Monday, we will begin to count tardies to school and class. The first and second tardy will be a warning, the third tardy will be a detention. The 4th tardy and beyond will result in office referrals that will be processed by the administration. Please encourage your student to be on time for class and school.
The state assessments will be administered again this week on Wednesday with a delayed opening. If your student is not testing, encourage them to check with their bus driver about pick-up times on Wednesday or give the bus driver a call using the bus list on our website.
We are fast approaching the mid-term of Quarter 1. Please encourage your student to check their grades on the family portal. Progress reports will be available on October 6th.
As our county continues to be at “high” risk for the transmission of COVID-19 it is important to remember that all individuals entering JMB must wear a mask and wear it properly. Our goal is to keep everyone healthy and in school. Please do your part and wear your mask and wear it correctly.
Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
