Senior Parent Message 4/9/21

Good afternoon parents of Clipper seniors,

We are so excited to be able to share that we will be able to provide a live commencement this year for our graduates!  As you know, we have been working very hard to make this a reality.  Even more exciting is that our students will be able to graduate at Arthur W. Perdue (Shorebirds) Stadium and actually receive their diploma cover on home plate while being projected on the big screen!  What a great memory for them!

We have worked with the Shorebirds organization to schedule around their games and other events, so we had to adjust the date of graduation.  Our students will be graduating on June 12 at 7:00 pm.  Each graduate will receive four tickets for the event.  The event will be live-streamed so those who cannot physically attend the event will still be able to celebrate with us.

As we finish out the school year and plan for events please understand that we are still required to follow the last executive order which I have attachedThe key components for us is that we are still required to follow the 6ft social distancing and 50% capacity limits for both indoor or outdoor gatherings.

As always, we have a lot of exciting opportunities for our seniors and a lot of important dates to mark on your calendars.  Please remember that masks must be worn at all of these events.

I've attached a chart to the email that accompanies this message that describes each of the events.  Those events include decision day, voting for prom king and queen, cap and gown, distribution, pictures, a senior celebration and senior awards.  Please make sure that you read the email thoroughly as it has a lot of important information in it.
