Good afternoon Clipper Athletes and Marching Band Students! This is Keith Bailey, Assistant Principal of Athletics. If you play or are interested in playing a fall sport, or participating in Marching Band this school year, please listen to the following message.
As we move into the fall, there are still a lot of unknowns, however, we want to offer our athletes out-of-season conditioning! This will be voluntary and will occur strictly outdoors. If you wish to participate, you MUST have a physical on file dated after June 1st. The physical is to be submitted to your coach on your first day of the program. The schedule for conditioning will be developed based on the guidelines set by the MPSSAA. Unfortunately, not all of our coaches are able to participate in pre-season conditioning, but they will begin at the official start of the season in August. This is the initial phase in reopening athletics for the fall and does suggest that we will have a normal season, however, there is no absolute guarantee, as circumstances are subject to change. Please see our Form ReLEAF registration on our web page and Facebook. Should you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com. I will do my best to answer your questions, but just know these are ever-changing times and things change very quickly. Please look out for further updates on our website, Facebook Page, and School Messenger phone calls.
Attached in this message are also the forms that need to be completed along with the e-mail addresses of our fall coaches. Feel free to reach out to your coaches directly to inquire about conditioning. Some coaches may not do an on-campus conditioning but may give you an at home workout to work on in order to prepare for the fall season.
If you are interested in participating in the marching band you will need to complete the following forms and send them to Mr. Miles at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Enjoy your summer, and please stay healthy and safe.
