    Curriculum Summary

Wicomico County has fully implemented Maryland's College and Career Readiness Standards (MDCCRS) in pre-kindergarten through grade eight, algebra 1, geometry and algebra 2.

This new curriculum addresses fewer standards so that teachers can deepen student thinking and understanding of the mathematics. Instruction focuses on problem solving, reasoning, and student perseverance. This curriculum is designed to teach mastery of the content.
