This prestigious honor has lofty requirements. From USA Swimming:
"Following the conclusion of the 2018-2019 swim season, USA Swimming today announced the names of 1,634 high school swimmers who have been selected to the 2018-2019 Scholastic All America Team.
To earn the title of Scholastic All American, athletes must be in 9th-12th grade and maintain a minimum 3.5 grade point average during the application year, while meeting the 2018 Winter Junior time standards in the pool."

OPIOID AWARENESS TRAILER DEBUTS OCT 24 AT JMB
The Wicomico County Opioid Intervention Team has developed an important educational resource that will be deployed in our community and available on October 24th at James M. Bennett High School for you to tour. The NEW Opioid Intervention Team’s Education Trailer will not only serve as a conduit of information via educational supplies and resources, but will also provide parents, guardians and caregivers with a live simulation tour of an adolescent’s bedroom. This trailer has been carefully developed in partnership with the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force and will give those who take the tour important information about where their children may be hiding drugs or paraphernalia and the signs and symptoms to be aware of that may indicate that the adolescent is using dangerous substances.
It is our goal to reach individuals in our community and provide them with helpful information and resources before it is too late!
