The home instruction regulations are found in the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 13A.10.01. The purpose of these regulations is to establish a procedure to be used by the superintendent of each local school system to determine if a child participating in a home instruction program is receiving regular, thorough instruction during the school year in the studies usually taught in the public schools to children of the same age.

End of Year Review Google Form:
The end of the year portfolio submissions will be completed through a google survey. The survey is extremely user friendly and can be completed quite easily from a cell phone. The key is to have all of your evidence in a digital format prior to beginning the survey.. YHou should choose the device to complete the survey that is the same device that all of the digital evidence is located so that you can easily find and choose the files to upload for each subject. Just click on the link below to get started.
Upon submitting, you are able to go back and edit your submission if you need to by clicking on the edit button in the confirmation email. Be sure to type your email address correctly the first time, or else you will not get the confirmation email for your records and you will be unable to edit the survey.
You are able to complete multiple children with the same email account. After you submit one child, a screen appears that asks if you would like to submit another response. Click on this and it opens a new survey.
