Many opportunities happen under the term Secondary Summer School. Take a look: Remedial Credit for middle and high school. Honors Chemistry, Honors Algebra II and Honors Geometry for original credit. ESOL summer program for middle and high school students. STEM Internships for high school students. Various enrichment opportunities for middle school students such as: STEM Camp and Computer Science Coding Camp where students learned about and designed their own video games and 3D programming.
Remedial Summer School: Remedial summer school courses for middle and high school students. Students must bring in a copy of their latest report card to register. Session I will be from 8-11 a.m. with lunch provided. Session II will run from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The charge per course for Wicomico County students is $25/$50/$100 (Free/Reduced/Paid Meals). Out-of-county students pay $160 per course.
Middle school courses will be offered in: Math 6, Math 7, Math 8; Integrated Science 6, 7 and 8; RELA 6, 7 and 8; ELL; and Ancient History 6, U.S. History 7 and World History 8.
High school courses will be offered in: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Business Math; Earth/Space Science, Physical Science and Biology; English 9, 10, 11 and 12; ELL; Modern World History, U.S. History and Foundations of American Government; and Consumer Economics.
Honors Session: Original credit classes in Honors Algebra II*, Honors Chemistry and Honors Geometry. Students will attend classes from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, with breakfast and lunch served. The charge per course for Wicomico County students is $50/$100/$200 (Free/Reduced/Paid Meals). Out-of-county students pay $325 per course.
