Certificates of insurance are requested from vendors, or provided by other entities to provide evidence of insurance, based on established insurance limits.

The philosophy of risk management is to identify and reduce risk, through having adequate insurance in the case of a claim, as well as having a pro-active corporate culture to be safety conscience and identify possible risks before a loss occurs.
