Wicomico County Public Schools subscribes to a number of online resources to support science instruction in Middle School. These include the websites linked below. Further below is a list of the units of study for each grade, and the specific Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) Performance Expectation (PE) for each unit outcome. The NGSS PEs can help you find specific activities within each of the websites.

PhET Interactive Simulations, High School Science simulations. 6-12th grade Science students
PhET is a suite of research-based interactive computer simulations for teaching and learning physics, chemistry, math, and other sciences. PhET simulations can be run online or downloaded for free from the PhET website.
Free Access is provided for families during the school closure. The site includes video clips, computer coding exercises, readings, and more.
