Glen Ave Virtual Art Show
Mrs. Phillips created a virtual showcase of the Art work that was chosen for Wicomico County's Art show. Click the on the link below to view the work created by our talented scholars.
Instructional materials for the 4th packet will be available online Monday, May 11th & 12th at wcboe.org. Choose grade level then ELA, Math, Science, or Social Studies.
For anyone wanting a hard copy of packets #2, #3, or the newest packet #4, materials will be available outside Glen Avenue’s Main Office Monday 5/11 & Tuesday 5/12 from 10:00am-4:00 pm. The materials will be available by self serve. Please call 410-677-5806 and let us know if you have any questions (Leave a voicemail).
NOTE: Packet #4 includes activities that are expected for Math, Reading, Science, AND Social Studies. Contact the teacher to comfirm completion of school work.

EMERGENCY NOTICE: By order of the Governor, all Maryland Public Schools are closed March 16-May 15, 2020. All school programs and events are canceled during this time period. Please email the school if you have any questions during the closure: email@example.com.
Please check your email for an invitation to the teacher's CLASS DOJO. This will be our primary means of communication and suggestions for school work completion. Download the "ClassDoJo" app then accept the teacher's invitation to join in your email. This does not apply if you already are linked to your child's ClassDoJo.
Suggested site for school-relevant reading activities: Google: "Scholastic Learn at Home". It's free and you choose your child's grade for appropriate work.
Attendance: Please send in all medical excuse notes and/or parent notes for illness! Students sent home by the school nurse for a fever or vomiting are already excused for the following day since they must be fever or vomit free for 24 hours. For those students, a note is not needed. All other absences require a note. Please send in a request for advance absence if you family is taking a vacation. Advance Vacation Request

Glen Avenue celebrates our 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year! Ms. Renee Peshoff is a second grade teacher in her 6th year at Glen Avenue.
