Feb. 3rd is the grade 4 and 5 school Spelling Bee. Invitations will be sent to the families of those students who are participating.
Feb. 3rd Term #2 report cards will be available on the Family Portal. If you have difficulty accessing the portal, please contact the school office for assistance.
Feb. 7th is the Term # 2 Awards Ceremony for each grade level. (5th grade at 9:30, 4th grade at 10:30 and 3rd grade at 2:30)
Feb. 13th is Joint Conference Night at Fruitland Primary School. Please contact your student's teacher if you would like to set up a conference for this evening.
Feb. 16th is our visit with Illustrator Bryan Collier.
Feb. 17th is an early dismissal day for students.
Feb. 20th there is no school in observance of President's Day.
The Wicomico County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC) invites parents and guardians of students with disabilities to participate in the next meeting. The meeting will be held via Zoom on Thursday, February 9th beginning at 6:00 p.m. The SECAC meeting will focus on the role of the related service provider and how these professionals can provide supports to students with disabilities. If you would like to participate in the Zoom meeting, please email Kevin Smith, Supervisor of Special Education, at email@example.com to request the Zoom meeting information.
Youth & Adult Chess Tournament
Wicomico County Rec and Parks will be hosting the annual youth and adult chess tournaments at the Civic Center in Salisbury this coming February 17th and 18th, 2023. See the attached flyer for more information. Check out the link for online registration.
Family Connectivity 2022
Beginning July 1, 2022, WCPS will no longer distribute hotspots to students and staff. Since the Fall of 2021, several subsidy programs have been created by the Federal Government and Maryland-Governor Hogan to assist qualifying families as they acquire their own home internet services. The following is a list of important internet links to connect families to those resources. Please direct all questions to the vendors listed, government agency, or your community agency.
