Class News... Looking to the sky...
Our attention now turns towards the night sky and the millions of stars and galaxies that exist in our universe. We will study the life cycle of stars like our Sun and found out the ultimate fate of our star and Earth. We will study how two scientists developed a chart for categorizing the different types of stars and how their color, size, brightness and temperature can help tell us about it life cycle. We will learn about the different types of galaxies found in the Universe, our Milky way is just one of the millions of galaxies that are out there. Our galaxy is classified as a spiral possibly a spiral barred galaxy, don't know what that is? We will learn how to characterize galaxies based on their shape and size. I have saved the best for last, we will do a short study on the most awesome presence in the universe... the black hole. Keep looking up!
