United Streaming is a quick easy way to integrate technology, meet the needs of your diverse learners, and accomplish the objectives of any lesson.  It is easy to access and always at your fingertips.  Why not give it a try?  You have nothing to lose.  You can try it from the comfort from your own home.  The data base covers any subject.  It can be a quick warm up to activate the students' knowledge,  a method to practice a previously learned skill, or a half-hour virtual field trip to reinforce skills learned in the classroom.          But it is so much more than that!  United Streaming is a great resource for your technology needs and more!  You can find clip art there for your Word, Inspiration, and Power Point documents.  Need pictures?  You can find them there, too.  In a bind for a quick assessment tool?  No need to fret.  United Streaming has tons of quizzes at your fingertips on a variety of topics.  What?  The quizzes don't meet the exact needs of your unit, standards, and objectives?  Never fear!  United Streaming will allow you to quickly create your own quiz that you can print or allow your students to take on-line!  In addition to quizzes, United Streaming offers lesson plans as well as writing prompts complete with full color pictures.  Believe me when I say that it is worth the time to investigate this valuable tool!  You say you teach reading and need non-fiction text to align with a fictional piece you recently read.  This is the place to look for it.  Think you are off the hook because you teach math?  Not a chance.  United Streaming has that covered too!       You can search by typing in a key word or by clicking on a subject.  When you type in your key word, United Streaming is going to give you the results in videos, video clips, images, articles, and calendar events.  It will tell you how many of each it found and you can browse from there.  I find the video clips to be extremely useful and take up so little of our valuable time.  I can get my point across in a short amount of time and move on.  Once you download your clip or other media, it is yours to keep.  You can put it in your play list which is United Streaming's store room for you to use, or you can burn it to dvd/cd or save it to disc or where ever you keep your files.  If you don't investigate this incredible tech tool now, you will be kicking yourself later!
