Look at the pictures below that represent different forms of the fury that
nature can place upon us. You can view a larger image by clicking directly
on the picture. After you have had time to look at the pictures and study
them, choose one that seems to jump out at you. If one doesn't jump out at
you then pick the one that you like the best. Study the picture some more
and think of several words that describe the picture and how it makes you feel.
What kind of mood do you think the picture represents? What do you find
exciting/unusual/mysterious about the picture. How does the picture make
you feel and what about it makes you feel that way?
Your task: Write one or two
paragraphs that describe the picture and its mood. Be sure to use plenty
of descriptive language in your writing.
