SOFTBALL FEATURED IN
THE DAILY TIMES AS TEAM TO BEAT
The defending
Bayside South champion Wi-Hi Indians started the season off with a
victory against county rival Mardela on Wednesday, winning 7-2.
The Daily Times article can be found here.
The team is seen as the
team to beat in 2007. The team was featured in Saturday's
The Daily Times, and you can read the article
here. From the article:
"Following
a season in which the Wicomico softball team won the Bayside South title
and finished the season with a 13-5 record, the Indians know that they
have to be looked at as one of the favorites to emerge from an especially
strong conference this year. After all, they do return 11 of 14 players
from a year ago and, despite a coaching change, head into this season with
a lot of continuity."
The team plays two games this week.
