Hello, I am JoAnne James, Guidance Counselor, here at Pemberton Elementary School. I serve students in a delightful way. It is my challenge to teach and reach boys and girls through innovative strategies. I strive to help students feel comfortable in the school environment, develop positive self-concepts, enhance open communication and promote cooperative work skills. I talk to students in small groups, with friends, and one on one. Every child has the opportunity to talk with me. I also talk to parents and teachers about concerns and progress of the students. Parents are welcome to visit at anytime.
