Principal
Mr. Cody has been an educator for 24 years with the most recent 8 years in administration. He received his bachelors degree in elementary education from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C.. Additionally, Mr. Cody has a masters of science degree in curriculum and instruction from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD and a masters of education in administration from Salisbury University. Mr. Cody attended Pittsville school from the 3rd-7th grades when Pittsville served all grades through high school. Mr. Cody has been married to Linda (Griffin) Cody, who is a graduate for Pittsville High School, for 37 years and they have 2 children, Joshua and Rachel. The Cody's also have three grandchildren, Charles, Ember and Lilah. Mr. Cody invites you to stop in and see an outstanding staff and school that is dedicated to do what is best for all students.
Ms Doss, Rebecca
Vice-Principal
Mrs. Doss brings a great deal of experience and enthusiasm with her. She gained most of her classroom teaching experience in grades 2,3 and 4. Her additional teaching experiences include working as a Title 1 Reading Teacher, Schools for Success Facilitator and Middle School Reading Teacher. Ms. Doss has worked as an Assistant Principal at West Salisbury Elementary and Beaver Run Schools. She is mom to two grown daughters and resides in Salisbury with her husband Gary.
