Homework/Miscellaneous

           The Homework/Miscellaneous grade category (10% of Marking Period Grade) includes any or all of the following: 

ü   completed forms and slips returned as home correspondences (including paperwork, permission slips, band questionnaires, fundraising forms, midterm grade reports, request forms)

ü   performance critique forms

ü   activities completed under the supervision of substitute teacher

ü   any written activities (music theory, READ, etc.) assigned as homework 

           Each entry under this category will be awarded 10 points.  The date for return of forms will be set by the teacher; full credit will be awarded for forms returned on or before that date.  Forms will receive 5 points if turned in after this date.  Students not returning forms will receive a zero for that assignment. 

           Marking Period Grades in this category will be attained by comparing the total points a student has earned with the total possible. 

           NOTE:  It is very important to cooperate in the organizational matters this category addresses, for a grade may be dropped up to 10% if it is neglected.  The grade in this category may mean the difference between an A or B, B or C, etc.
