Trip Permission Form

Dear Parents,                                                                 June 21, 2008

            Through the course of the year, the Mardela Middle and High School Symphonic and Marching Band and Bandfront will embark upon several trips to perform and compete in various events.  Currently, the students can plan on the following: 

            Wed, Oct. 15, 2008                    MMHS Homecoming, County Stadium, Salisbury, MD

            Mon, Dec. 1, 2008                     Pocomoke Christmas Parade, Pocomoke, MD

            Sat, Dec. 6, 2008                        Cambridge Christmas Parade, Cambridge, MD

            Sun, Dec. 7, 2008                       Salisbury Christmas Parade, Salisbury, MD

                        Other Possible Parades: Georgetown (Dec. 4), OC or Seaford (both Sat. Dec. 6), Berlin (Dec. 11)

            Wed, Mar. 11, 2009                    HS District Band Festival, WiHS, Salisbury, MD (SymphBand only)

            Fri, Sat, May 1-2, 2009                Apple Blossom Festival, Winchester, VA

            Tues, May 26, 2009                    Mardela Commencement (SymphBand only)

(the above events and dates are subject to change, addition, or deletion) 

            This form is to signify your parental permission of your band student to travel with the Mardela Middle and High School Marching and Symphonic Band for the above events.  Parents are encouraged and invited to travel with us to each of them (bus space will depend upon availability).

            The band does not offer medical insurance, so you child must be covered by your own policy or a supplement arranged by you.

            Transfer the above dates to your calendars so that our schedules will agree.  Any adjustments will be announced with advanced notice via email announcements and announcements broadcasted at MMHS in the mornings and afternoons.
