BingoMania46 is coming (Jan. 12)!
All band students grades 6-12, bandfront and poms are receiving their parent assistance forms. The January 12 date is a bit earlier than other years, so we want to urge you to return them quickly; final turn in date is Tues, Jan. 8. This is a major fundraiser that requires the help of 60+ parents; please help out to make sure all posts are fully manned.
Band Fruit Arrive Tuesday, Dec. 11
Orders for the Band’s Fall Fruit Sale will be ready for pickup 1pm to 4:30pm. Teachers, only certain high school students will be requested to help in this task; an email will be forth-coming.
Band Celebration
Hey, Band! It’s time to celebrate a fabulous first part of the school year! The Band-Aides are sponsoring a gathering on Thursday, Dec. 20 from 6:30-9:00p. Pizza and Wings, DJ, Dancing, and Door Prizes will be provided; students must bring a 2-litre bottle of soda to share.
This event is open to active band, bandfront, and poms students grades 6-12 and their immediate families only; non-band friends will not be admitted.

Band Parent Meeting: If you have not taken the opportunity to be involved with the band parent organization, consider trying out a (routine) band meeting, Tuesday, Dec. 11, 8:00p in the Bandroom.

PRACTICE CALENDARS: Be sure your budding musicians complete their 2 hours of practice for this week; sign and return practice calendars on Monday/Tuesday (when they first have class). This week’s numbers (extra credit practice completed over Thanksgiving break):

Perc 8 (BDF) 1 of 8, 13% (Last week: 38%)
Band 7 (ACE) 3 of 15, 20% (Last week: 47%)

The above number is 19 of 68, 28%, completing this responsibility; we need these numbers to rise (however so gradually) to 100% (No Child Left Behind).
