I have been married for nine years and I have a five year old son. I started teaching in the private sector and moved to public school ten years ago. I earned my Bachelor's of Science at Salisbury University and I earned my Masters in Education. I love to read and work out.

Mrs. Riggin loves to practice yoga, cycling and exercising, when she can. She and Mr. Riggin plan on skiing Vail Mountain in Colorado this December.

I am from Mardela Springs and am starting my 4th year teaching 4th grade at Glen Avenue. Currently, I am working on my Masters Degree in Reading at Salisbury University. When I am not at Glen Avenue I love to spend time with my family and friends!

My teaching career began in 1974, after graduating from Salisbury University. I taught in Bennettsville, South Carolina for one year. In August of 1975, I accepted the position of fourth grade teacher at Glen Avenue. This is my final year, but it has been an extraordinary experience. After retirement, I plan to spend more time with my family, volunteer at certain organizations and cheer on the Terps and Yankees.
