I have been here at East for 11 years. I have been happily married for 33 years. I have 2 children who are now both grown. I also have 2 grandchildren whom I adore. It is my belief that all children can learn.

I believe all children are capable of learning to their ability level. Each child must be treated as a " whole person."It is my calling to educate and nurture the students that I teach to be successful citizens in society.

I have been teaching for 7 years and this is my 5th year in Fourth Grade here at East Salisbury. I am a reading and spelling teacher for Team A. In addition to teaching, I enjoy working with the kids through various programs such as STARS, Mentoring, PBIS, Walking Club and 'Nothin' But Net'. I love using technology to motivate my students and want all to succeed. I believe in them 100%!

This is the start of my sixth year of teaching. I started teaching in Pungoteague, Virginia. I met my husband there and we moved to Salisbury, Maryland in August of 2006. I have been married for 3 amazing years. I am from Rochester, New York. I left my family there, which consists of 13 brothers and sisters. I miss them very much. I am also currently working on my masters degree in reading and mathematics. I will graduate from Walden University in April, 2010.
