
Principal Briggs, Rick
Principal
Mr. Briggs is a Wicomico County Public Schools graduate who earned his Bachelor's degree and Master's degree at Salisbury University. Prior to becoming Principal at BMS, he served as a math teacher, Assistant Principal and Dean of Students at Wicomico High School. He coached soccer, basketball and baseball and received The Daily Times' Coach of the Year award for his last season coaching soccer in 2004. He lives in Salisbury with his wife Kristen, daughter Ella, and son Owen.
Vice-Principal Hastings, Liza
Vice-Principal
Mrs. Hastings is a Wicomico County Public Schools graduate who received her Bachelor's degree from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland and her Master's degree from Salisbury University. Prior to becoming Assistant Principal at Bennett Middle School in 2008, she was the Dean of Students and a history teacher at Wicomico High School. She began her career in 1997 as a 6th grade History teacher at Glen Avenue Elementary School. Mrs. Hastings was recognized in 2004 as semi-finalist for Teacher of the Year. She lives in Delmar with her husband Tim, daughter Alyssa and son Caleb.
Vice-Principal Greene, Ron
Vice-Principal
Mr. Greene is a Wicomico County Public School graduate. He earned his bachelors and masters degree from Salisbury University. Prior to becoming Assistant Principal at Bennett Middle, he was Assistant Principal at Mardela Middle and High School, and Dean of Students at James M. Bennett. He taught 9th and 11th grade history at Wi-High where he also coached football and softball. He lives in Hebron with his wife Dawn and daughters, Macie & Kelcie.
Dean of Students Glover, Tikitia
Dean of Students
Ms. Glover was appointed Dean of Students and 7th grade administrator on August 20, 2009. Ms. Glover worked as a school counselor in the state of Georgia prior to becoming Dean of Students in Wicomico County and as a special education teacher in the private sector. She recived her Masters of Education in School Counseling from South Carolina State University in 2002 and received her add-on Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and certification in 2009 from the University of Georgia. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Educational Leadership. Ms. Glover resides in Salisbury, Maryland is the proud mother of two, Areyhon and Malik.
