The organizations on the left are groups that offer Service-Learning opportunities for our students. Individuals in need of hours for graduation or meritorious service and teachers looking for a networking opportunity for an infused project can contact these organizations to learn more. Some organizations have pre-planned events for which volunteers are needed, while others have on-going needs throughout the year. Contact the organization directly for more information. In addition to these organizations, many churches and other religious organizations have volunteer opportunities that may satisfy Service-Learning requirements. Specific guidelines for work with religious organizations may be found on pages 14-15 of the Maryland Student Service-Learning Guidelines. Please read the guidelines before completing service-learning with a religious organization to ensure compliance with state regulations. |
