Service-Learning Awards |
|
This year is presented by the Maryland State Department of Education. Each county submits two students to receive the Service-Star each year. The award is presented at the annual Service-Learning Recognition Dinner and Awards each spring. In Wicomico County, high schools nominate students for the award, and a committee at the Board-level selects two students to be recognized. |
There are several ways students can earn recognition for going above and beyond the 75 required hours of Service-Learning, including: |
