Each child will be expected to use Freewrite and write a summary of the story The Chocolate Touch

Children will also be assessed on their ability to open the program, input information, and be able to beam results to another classmate or teacher.

After the initial lesson introducing the Palms to the students a review of procedures will be discussed and each child will demonstrate how to open a program, beam, and add information.

Procedure:

After reading the Novel The Chocolate Touch, the children will brainstorm and answer the 5W’s to a summary. (who, what ,when, where, and how or why).

They will use a graphic organizer to write this information down.

They will construct a summary paragraph from the graphic organizer.

After reading the Novel The Chocolate Touch, the children will work with a partner and the web graphic organizer and put in order items that turned to chocolate in the story.
