Talking to Friends Across the Sea

Miss Hastings' 5th grade students talked to their online friends in Bloemfontein, South Africa in Willem Postma Primére Skool using a free Internet phone service called Skype. The students introduced themselves to each other and asked several questions which both sides had fun answering. The headmaster of the school in Bloemfontein greeted us and sent best wishes. Our principal and assistant principal joined the event and spoke to the teacher in Bloemfontein, Chris Smit. Everyone had a great time!
