Standard 1: Information Access, Evaluation, Processing and ApplicationGrant Activities: ·1 Teachers will use student to revise lessons for publishing online. |

Standard 2: CommunicationGrant Activities: ·1 Teachers will publish lesson plans to the web for online access by others.·2 Teachers will communicate with other teachers and administrators throughout the project using email and the project website. |

Standard 4: Assessment for Administration and InstructionGrant Activities: ·1 Teachers will use data from handheld applications to revise curriculum activities·2 All data from the project will be available to all county supervisory personnel.·3 During the professional development portion of the project all participating teachers will receive instruction on the use of handheld technology to develop student reading and math skills and other uses of handhelds in the classroom, which include the latest research findings. |

Standard 5: Integrate Technology into the Curriculum and InstructionGrant Activities: ·1 Teachers will develop lessons integrating handheld computers into reading and math instruction. |

Standard 7: Professional GrowthGrant Activities: ·1 Teachers will evaluate the use of handheld computers within their instructional program.·2 Teachers will identify important local, state and national standards with regards to reading and math in their curriculum.·3 Teachers will use a variety of web-based resources to develop lessons integrating handheld computers into the curriculum and then post these resources online for supervisors and other teachers to use. |
