Mentors are invited to attend the Positive Impact Seminar held each year. The seminar encourages mentors to continue reaching out to children. The value of mentoring is the main focus, with workshops on a variety of topics. Communication and Listening Skills, Conflict Resolution, Dealing With Life Circumstances, Defining Boundaries, Building Trust are examples of past workshops. The schedule is flexible, so a mentor may attend part of the day, or the entire event. Lunch is provided, reservations required.
