The DishiBem Dance Group

On October 5th, we had quite the treat of having the DishiBem Dance Group perform for us as an assembly. This dance group was founded by Kwame Opare, who used to tour with the off-Broadway hit show "STOMP", in order to bridge the gap between traditional West African and contemporary dance and music. DishiBem, which translated means "writing peace", was founded in 2003. This dance group's performances will help link fine arts with the curriculum.
