School, School System, Law Enforcement Work Together at Wicomico High after Automated Bomb Threat
Updated school safety announcement from Wicomico County Public Schools:
Wicomico High School resumed normal operations at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9. School personnel and school system safety staff worked cooperatively with law enforcement after the school received an automated bomb threat message at 12:50 p.m. Students and staff remained safe in place as the school was searched by law enforcement officers and a K-9. Nothing was found. Dismissal will continue as usual. This matter is being handled with the safety of students and staff as our highest priority, and the school system will continue to work with law enforcement on this investigation. Thank you.
