Schools mailed welcome letters to students Aug. 14. Wicomico County Schools will hold open houses the week of Aug. 24-28 in preparation for the opening of the 2015-2016 school year on Monday, Aug. 31, for most students*.

*Please note that students in grades 1-6 and grade 9 will attend school on Aug. 31.

(Exceptions: All grades will attend at Pittsville Elementary and Middle, and only grade 6 will attend at Mardela Middle and High.)

All students in grades 1-12 will be in school Tuesday, Sept. 1. During the first week, kindergarten and prekindergarten students will report as scheduled by the assigned school.

Beaver Run Elementary School

Wicomico Evening High School

Located in Wicomico High School Building E, Salisbury (off Glen Avenue)

Evening High School is designed to help students enrolled in other Wicomico County high schools to take classes to “stay on track” for graduation. It also serves anyone ages 16-21 who wishes to return to school to complete the requirements to earn a Maryland High School Diploma.
