Listed below are important documents concerning your employment with Wicomico County Public Schools. Please review these documents carefully.

 HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices

  • Wicomico County Public Schools (WCPS) revised the HIPAA Privacy Notice on September 2013 to reflect the new requirements of the final HIPAA Omnibus Rule. HIPAA is the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and requires that WCPS provide CareFirst health insurance participants access to a Notice of Privacy Practices.

>Universal Availability Notice - Wicomico County Public Schools 403(b) Plan

  • This notice is required to be provided annually to all employees and provides information regarding the 403(b) Plan in which you are eligible to participate.
 

Affordable Care Act Notifications:

  • Healthcare Exchange Notice - When key parts of the health care law take effect in 2014, there will be a new way to buy health insurance: the Health Insurance Marketplace. To assist you as you evaluate options for you and your family, this notice provides some basic information about the new Marketplace and employment-based health coverage offered by Wicomico County Public Schools.
  • EPO Summary of Benefits and Coverage- The purpose of the Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) is to provide individuals with standard information so they can compare medical plans as they make decisions about which plan to choose.
